Today I chose to show you this video because I think it's really funny and in the same time criticizes society very well. The video wants to criticize racism in nowadays society, but instead of doing it in a serious or violent way, Key and Peele do it in a funny way, in case you don't know Key and Peele , they are two comedians from Comedy Central who do funny videos to laugh about anything but never in an offensive way, by dowing this they show we can laugh about anything without ever offensing anyone. At the beginning of the video we can see a white woman and a white man presenting the news, and talking about "black ice" but the whole pun of the video is the fact that "black ice" sounds like "black guys", so after these two anchormen talk negatively about black ice , the weatherman and the reporter who are both afroamericans try to justify the fact that black ice didn't really choose to be there (just like black people didn't choose their lives), meanwhile the anchormen continue talking negatively about black ice making the reporter and the weatherman go crazy. And at the end of the video , when we think everything is over, the anchorwoman switches to the next part of the daily report whith the question: " Why is America being ruined by black people?". This video clearly criticizes racism in society which makes us easly relate it to the notion of social progress"
